About Ms. Moot

I started this blog in 2008, and maintained it with varying success for a whole year. (That’s like 263 years in Attention Span Years.) It started as a chance for me to learn how to create a website, from the technical side of things. It was all in raw HTML. I learned how to use it (HTML is like training wheels for websites – it doesn’t really count). Then I got really tired of updating the HTML files for archives, next/previous buttons and all this other crap every time I posted something. So I transferred to WordPress. I played with a few settings. And that’s about it.

I haven’t learned anything since, and there is nothing remotely spiffy about the presentation of this site. I’d like to learn more, but the list of things I’d like to do could fill 6 lifetimes (623,346,246 Attention Span Years, for those who are counting). –Still, if you need a guinea pig for your website design and management teaching skills, holla, because I’m your girl. Or if you happen to have a potion that lets you live 6x longer…?

In the meantime, I’m doing some reviving around here. Pardon any potential idiocy resulting from the brain damage incurred during the extended period of unconsciousness – I may just decide to use it as a license to say whatever I please.

Welcome to the Moot Renaissance. And watch your step – we’re always under construction.
